Debra Bryan is an Augusta native. Her father was a member of the United States Army stationed at Fort Gordon. Mrs. Bryan was born at Fort Gordon Military Hospital and attended local public schools. She graduated from Augusta College (Augusta State University) in Augusta, Georgia and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1983.
Mrs. Bryan graduated in the top ten percent of her class from John Marshall Law School, a private Law School in Atlanta, Georgia where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and Student Bar Association. Mrs. Bryan was chosen by the Dean of the Law School for a term as the class student representative of the school Disciplinary Board. She also represented John Marshall Law School as a Moot Court team member in an annual Moot Court competition with other Law Schools from throughout the Southeast region.
Mrs. Bryan is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, the Augusta Bar Association, the Augusta Family Bar Association and is a Certified Collaborative Law Member. She is also a trained mediator, including Domestic Law and Domestic Violence mediation.
Mrs. Bryan volunteers at local area charitable organizations and contributes to a local battered women’s shelter and the local humane society. She is a general practitioner with an emphasis in Family Law. Mrs. Bryan has successfully represented clients from family law issues to construction disputes. She is a professional who takes her clients’ needs very seriously.
